NAD+ Patches

I recently purchased NAD+ from the NAD treatment center in San Diego.  I purchased the NAD+ patches, 6 each @ 400mg each.  The patches are a electrophoresis type patch that uses a battery to drive the NAD+ into the skin. The six patches were $300.00. I spoke with Jennifer ( 944-623-7587 ext. 5) at the center who arranged telephone consultation with Dr. Milgram.  The product was fulfilled by Archway Apothecary in Covington, La.  I also purchased a NAD+ nasal spray which the Doc said goes directly to the brain.  To date I have used three patches and continue to daily take NR.  After completing the patches I will post my results/impressions.

Best,

David Michel

Paul Beauchemin I purchased 6 patches and have done 2. Easy application. Add liquid NAD to one side and nss to the other- apply for 4 hours. Three only side effect was irritation on the one side on the patch- slightly raised, mild redness and 1 of 10 itchiness- very easily ignored. And it wasn't noticed until the next day. Honestly i still have darkened skin where the 1st patch was placed- upper medial thigh from three weeks ago. Other than that, felt more energy and and focused for two days. Great feeling.

jen Smith Did Qalytude suggest a schedule for the patches?  I plan to purchase these in March and I was thinking I would use 2 or 3 each week.  I believe Life Extension recommends that older people like me (age 68) use NAD+ patches for 2 weeks or so and then we can switch to oral ingestion of NR or NMN.  Something about the NR and NMN not working for older people without using either the NAD+ patches or NAD+ infusions first.  I saw it on one of their slides they used for a presentation.

Did Qalytude say anything about that?

This is what Life Extension wrote in their 2018 RAADFest handout (pdf file):

              HOW TO BOOST CELLULAR NAD+
              • In persons under 45-55, supplement with 250-500 mg
a day of NAD+ precursor nicotinamide riboside.

              • Older individuals may need NAD+ infusions or patches.
              • Follow up NAD+ therapy with 250-750mg/day of
              nicotinamide riboside.

jen Smith Also on the RaadFest 2019 pdf file, Life Extension also stated:

However, if you’re over the age of 45, you may want to directly
boost your NAD+ levels via intravenous infusion of 300-500
mg of NAD+ administered every other day for a total of three
              infusions.

This is typically done on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday
schedule, with each infusion taking 3-4 hours.

The cost of the infusions can be high, so researchers are testing
NAD+ patches and other delivery vehicles to bring the cost of
              NAD+ restoration down considerably.

For those who got NAD patches from Archway what did the doctor prescribe?  Was it 400 mg of NAD or something else? Was the 8 hour patch for higher dosage or something else?

            Hey Folks,

Its been a few years since I did my NAD+ patches. Then I did 2 series about 6 months apart.

I am 70 now and considering another set of treatments.

What is new in this area??

            Dosing?

            Negatives?

            Thanks!

BobM I would look into sub q NAD+ shots, it can be done for $200 a year… one shot a day. It’s far cheaper than any option if you can buy raw NAD+.

Arizona Kid Hello there... where do you get the sub q NAD+ shots that are done for 200 a year. Seem quite a bit more expensive than that... unless you can get the source of NAD+ directly from the pharmacy....
