Acetyl L Carnitine

Just wondered current opinion on pros & cons of this supplement. Also Stephen Sinatra's awesome foursome CoQ10, Acetyl L Carnitine, Magnesium & D Ribose for cardiac health. I would be in favour of them, not as sure of D Ribose as a benefit.

I've posted extensively on ALC, a search will bring them up. Short answer is YES, and combine with ALA (alpha lipoic acid) for a double benefit for your mitochondria. Search for Dr Bruce Ames (father of the famous Ames test) on YouTube to see more of why.

This is one of the few supplements that I do feel the effects of. Without it energy levels slowly decline (I'm pretty sure this isn't placebo).

I also use LE eye drops which have ALC.

Thanks DanMcL. I'll take a look at those. Much appreciated.
