Is interested in life extension a male thing?

Although I see several life extension experts/scientists who are female, the vast majority of people on these forums are male. Is that correct and if so why?

Interesting observation. Its been shown that, in general, males are greater risk takers.  I suppose the conservative view would be that life extension measures are risky unless prescribed by your physician.

chuck stanley DHEA has long been associated with risk taking:  higher in men than women; higher in sky divers, etc.
