FDA to stop pharmaceutical companies from producing Nad+ and Dastinib

Hello everyone,

I had an appointment with my doctor in Kirkland, Wa and she informed me that the FDA was shutting down production of Nad+ and Dastinib.  Not sure what we are going to do now?

How about buy Dasatinib overseas and buy NAD+ precursors like NR or NMN like most people interested in NAD+ do?  Are you sure that your doctor is giving you reliable information?  Dasatinib is a cancer drug which Is still be prescribed by oncologists.

Dasatinib is still on the list of approved drugs https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/nda/2006/021986_022072_SprycelTOC.cfm ? with respect of nad I believe fda doesn’t allow for pharmacy compounding, which should tell you something.... and no fda isn’t incompetent but is safety regulatory agency to which the rest of the world looks for guidance.

  • thank you for correction, I was only saying what my doctor told me which surprises me that she does not have the facts correct.

  • I was getting NAD+ and Dastinib through prescription from doctor who order through Taylor Made Compounding Co. My doctor said this company informed her they will no longer be allowed to compound due to FDA restrictions.  My doctor is Dr. Sinha from Comprehensive Medical Center in Kirkland.  Only repeating what she told me.
