Sources for inexpensive prescription Rapamycin

My understanding is that in the U.S. Rapamycin is expensive with prescription, but it can be purchased overseas for much cheaper. Recommendations for pharmacies (compounding or otherwise) that have websites where it can be purchased if you have a prescription? Canada would be ideal.

sandi thompson Not at all! You may order one box if you like. The maximum order is six units at a time, it is done to comply with the FDA personal importation limits. No one understands these procedures better than IAS because no one has been doing it longer than us (27 years now).

@IAS Phil  I had been taking 1mg per day of real rapamycin for an autoimmune condition. My blood levels were slightly low at 2.2ng at a dose of 1 mg per day. I purchased rapamycin from the antiaging store (after confirming with them that it was in fact rapamycin), at an increased dose of 1.5 g per day. My levels are now lower than the assay can detect. Clearly the product is NOT rapamycin. I am furious. My advice is that you should NOT purchase from this company.

Steve Roedde I can assure you that the Rapa-Pro contains Rapamycin, it is formulated by an EU licensed compounding pharmacy and independently assayed by a lab. Brian Delaney has seen the certification with his own eyes.

Steve Roedde I am also confused as to how you obtained a dose of 1.5 mg of Rapa-Pro. If you are using one quarter of the 5 mg tablet it would be 1.25 mg - is this what you mean?

IAS Phil    Why don't you post the lab assay of your Rapamycin here on this forum.  Will go a long way with your credibility.

Van it is a fair question Van, but the answer lies in the complex arrangement of contracts that are between the raw material producer, the compounder and the distributor. Accordingly, in a similar way that Pfizer doesn't release stats on Viagra, since it tends to only be ‘Mom and Pop’ organisations who choose to ignore any contractual or privacy agreements they may be obliged by.

Therefore,, we retain the certificates and only release them to organisations under an NDA.

Somewhere on the forum I have stated before that Brian Delaney of the Age Reversal Network has already done so and seen them. He has a post on this forum saying all was satisfactory.

IAS Phil Kind of a moot point now since the RapaPro is not even in stock. I sent them a messaging requesting info on when it might be available but received no answer.

IAS Phil I take 1.25 mg then cut 1.25 into 5with a pill cutter. Given the prolonged half life of real Rapamycin the varied thickness should not matter and should even out. Unlike other forum users, I take it daily... and was trying to get to 4ng levels... (low renal-transplant levels). I can’t recall if I posted screenshots of my levels (I’m in my phone at the moment and site navigation difficult), but can do so if people have concerns. As I said, I will have more info next week when I see what 2.5 times the 1mg dose I was stable on does.

self experimenting sirolimus note from me. sirolimus reduced arthritus, and improved heart circulation, but at 4 mg dose I got a severe chest rash or hives 2 days after a dose. It fully cleared up after 14 days on a steroid. I will restart soon on a lower dose and be vigilant.

In reply "to are we there yet", I have been taking 6 mg rapa  once weekly for 2 years with zero side effects.  I am 72 yo, and feel that it is a waste of money to take rapa before the age of 60.  Tor signal still quite low before that age.  A good read is

      https://rapamycintherapy.com/

On another topic:  Has anyone ordered rapa from the antiageing clinic above.  If so, how is the service and who is manufacture of rapa.

Van Your listing of an age to start such a treatment I find interesting. I'm on here because I just turned 40 and although in my genetic make up aging has been very kind to me thus far I still want to do all I can to keep it that way. So I researched rayomicin and its effects. I only read publishing's from reputable sites (98% came from either harvard or the us government) I read that the younger you start this regimen the better because as is the case for anything prevention is easier to achieve. That part specifically came for the us government's work on the subject.

I am very interested in using Rapamycin. After reading a numbers of papers on the subject of Rapamycin and its possible anti-aging actions.

I have looked around at the many online suppliers and see the pricing is just too high, as are the commercially available tablets.

I am currently having 5mg capsules compounded by a compounding pharmacy for me at a much lower pricing but the only draw back is the large amount of capsules I needed to order.

Darren This forum is supported by IAS who donate 15% of all such orders to the research.

Rapamycin. (Rapa-Pro) is offered at 12x 5mg at $89.99 note that the tablets are scored so can be broken.

The site set up for this forum is: www.antiaging.clinic and the passcode is: research
