Sources for inexpensive prescription Rapamycin
My understanding is that in the U.S. Rapamycin is expensive with prescription, but it can be purchased overseas for much cheaper. Recommendations for pharmacies (compounding or otherwise) that have websites where it can be purchased if you have a prescription? Canada would be ideal.

I am very interested in using Rapamycin. After reading a numbers of papers on the subject of Rapamycin and its possible anti-aging actions.
I have looked around at the many online suppliers and see the pricing is just too high, as are the commercially available tablets.
I am currently having 5mg capsules compounded by a compounding pharmacy for me at a much lower pricing but the only draw back is the large amount of capsules I needed to order.

IAS Phil , might you know when IAS will have the RapaPro back in stock? My pup and myself have been happily using it, but alas, its been out of stock for a while, as has the low dose naltrexone (NalPro), another great product.

I am looking to obtain 1 mg tablets or capsules of rapamycin/sirolimus to be given to a small, 15 lb. dog.
If anyone has a quantity of 1 mg tabs they might want to provide (with appropriate compensation of course), please respond.
Am also interested in a joint buy, perhaps with dropshipmd or equivalent.
The antiaging.clinic option would be great if they offered 1 mg. The 5 mg size is too large to divide accurately. Thank you.

Ozone8 the 5mg tablets are double scored which means they can be broken twice so either 2.5mg or 1.25mg

IAS Phil but that’s just the dose on the label. There is no Rapamycin in the bloody pills!

The dosage for my dog would be about .65 or 1/2 of the smallest scored division of the tablet. Do you think it would be possible to relatively accurately divide the 1/4 tablet in half?

Ozone8 yes the tablets can be split again- but in such cases I’d recommend a proper tablet splitter, they are inexpensive as generally it is a blade inside a screw down tube.

My experience with ias has been nothing but positive, and I've ordered from them for years. The Profound products are of good quality, I believe, including the Rapamycin. Only thing is , it's been out of stock for several weeks, and I'm hoping they will get some more in. I also use their low dose naltrexone, also made by Profound, but its been out of stock or months now.

angie4life my experience would have been “positive” too... had I not checked my levels. At this point, I’d have to assume all of their drugs are fake. I could have ended up on a ventilator because of them!

CSC I hope to have an updated sirolimus (Rapamycin) level by September 5th or 6th. Hopefully this will clarify whether the dose is just low and misstated... or a fake drug.

CSC this shows that the silica in the pill is clean. Please provide proof it contains Rapamycin! My “RapaPro” contained NONE.

CSC So what are we missing? This CoA appears to only address lack of any contaminants in the "white powder". Where is the verification that it is actually rapamycin? I have an order pending with AntiAging.clinic but need to be confident that I will be getting more than white powder. Comments please from IAS Phil and CSC?

CSC can you please provide an explanation for the data reported in this COA?
Going by the title "certificate of analysis", the supplied document should be stating the contents of the drug being analyzed.
Yet, we do not see Sirolimus or Rapamycin anywhere in the report, simply the names of some possible bacterial contaminants.
Also, there are two fonts on the report, and some unusual spacing (between Identification and Optical), and also some misspellings.
This does not inspire confidence.
I am a physician, and a long time customer of IAS/AAS.
I would appreciate more reassurance, especially in view of the experience of others on this forum, reportedly with this product.
What is the T 1/2 of Rapamycin? Is the fact that the level of the member who is disappointed was drawn >24 hrs after the last dose helpful in terms of analyzing the reported lab result?

As promised, I have an update on my RapaPro from AAS. I took 2.5 mg of RapaPro for 12 days. My repeat Ramamycin shows that there is no Rapamycin at all in the pill I received. I asked for a full refund, and I received a nice reply from the company saying they would send one. I will report back when it arrives. Sadly, because I took a fake drug, my potentially life-threatening autoimmune conditions have been untreated for two months. The only advice I can offer after my experience is that you must have A mechanism to prove you are getting what you have been sold. In my case, my life was in jeapordy because of this. It might not just be money you are wasting! 😰

Well, that is certainly disappointing.
I have just placed an order though not funded it yet. I was hoping to use their echeck payment method but can't figure out how to do it. I am not willing to send sensitive banking information in an unsecured email format. But if the product is not really rapamycin....
Steve, what was your sirolimus level when tested after using a more "legitimate" source?

Ozone8 2.1 and 2.2 at 1 mg per day. Sadly, $12 per day for real Rapamycin. I looked into Dropshipmd... it looks potentially sketchy too.

Steve Roedde That is really too bad. I, too, contacted Dropshipmd at one point. I did not get the same feeling that they are sketchy but did not follow through with an order. I have seen other posters who have ordered from them successfully. And the brand they sell, Biocon, is a well known Indian pharmaceutical company. The price quoted was $1.75US for 1 mg tablets.

Ozone8 I had nearly purchased from them... but the wire payment was to somewhere else... Taiwan or Hong Kong... can’t recall exactly. It made me nervous. AAS had a nice website and I was suckered. I found this thread for Dropshipmd... scroll down till you get to the bit about their “office”. I don’t trust anyone anymore. Sadly, my chance at actually receiving a refund is probably zero now... but I felt compelled to share...

They provide a powder that must be divided and put in capsules. I have no proof that it was actually rapamycin but I did get one of the common side effects after taking. And using it for nine months or so produced some of the changes mentioned by Dr. Alan Green and others.
Given your medical needs I am not recommending True Life Research (TLR), just mentioning my experience

Did not try and make money on shipping. 3-4 weeks with regular shipping. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Been taking rapa for 3 years. 73 yo male The hassle is wiring the money. I asked them about credit cards, and they said the credit card companies charge 15% to process the card from India. That is why they don't offer it. They ship to the US in very good packaging and have never had a problem with customs. No Rx required. So all these reservations about dropshipmd are unfounded in my experience. They have been very ethical with me. Also, I ordered 500 and got a discount to $1.50 mg.
