Phosphatidylcholine IV

Ray Kurzweil is a fan of Phosphatidylcholine, and seems to be alone in this. Bill and others don't make much truck with it AFAIK. Ray has said he does both IV's and oral supplementation.

I've found that oral supplementation has successfully combated papery/old skin as I get older, and my physician offers IV's. Anybody done it? Any idea of frequency?

  • Fascinating; I'd never heard of an IV for this before.  Do you have any links?

I've been taking PC for years, on Kurzweil's recommendations (it's his first recommendation in TRANSCEND) and I've been curious why no one else even seems to discuss it. With my n of one personal experience it does seem that I look a bit younger when I'm taking it, but it's hard to say. I do have very healthy skin and a youthful demeanor for 48, and particularly for someone who's living in tropical or subtropical climates for the last 30 years.

  • Dan What dosing are you doing? I feel an effect at about 15g/kg.

Michael Dill 1-2 capsules per meal. It was based on Kurzweils recommended dose but I haven’t looked in a while.

  • Probably because it is already abundant in our diet. The average egg probably has a gram of it.

Fred Cloud surely Kurzweil and Terry know this? And yet they still recommend it as their top recommendation for general cell health.

    • Tam Yes, but perhaps it is the reason others dont make a big deal about it as they feel it is unnecessary to supplement. But since people are noticing effects then maybe it is helpful and that is why Kurzweil likes it.

Fred Cloud I think Ray and Terry recommend avoiding dairy products. Despite advertising current research shows a animal based diet is pro aging, not least from the mix of amino acids which trigger mTOR pathways via nutrient sensing.

On PtC some research a year or two ago showed that in the gut bacteria 'ferment' it in a way that creates a lot of carcinogenic compounds. However they found that this did not happen with vegans, in their double blind study. So worth noting, do not supplement with PtC if you are a carnivore or omnivore, and possibly even a vegetarian. This might be another reason why animal foods are so troublesome, perhaps the PtC, combined with the animal product, has this carcinogenic effect.

  • I read that most oral PC gets taken up in the liver and is not circulated. I used to get 2,500mg by IV. It also had bile acid so dissolved cholesterol in arteries.

Fred Cloud Hello there have you heard of Plaquex? I used it to help clear my arteries. I had maybe 50 IV treatments.... amazing results... I had Chelation as well. They have research done on their oral product that definitely shows results. iT is from Switzerland and now is made here in the US. Where did you get the bile acid and who helped you with this? Was it a clinic if so which one? Dr Gaines I believe who was at the RAAD Convention does Plaquex IV treatments.... I recommend them... Better to do injections than oral but oral helps. And the research showed that the oral worked no matter what diet you were on...

  • yes, plaquex is what I did. The plaquex formula has bile acid in it, that is what dissolves the cholesterol.

Fred Cloud Yes I did 50 treatments... it really helped me but the plaquex did not really become observable to me until about the 25 treatment.... I was on a good diet as well.  And l was walking at least an hour a day plus doing all kind of nutrients that would increase NO and also help with blood flow and clear arteries.

    • garland Thats amazing. My doc said they are done in a round of 10 treatments and that should be sufficient. Did you have known artery blockage? I only did 5 treatments and then I moved and didnt continue treatment. But would like to revisit it.

By the way, what dose did they use on you? They gave me the whole 50cc bottle, which I think was 2,500mg of ppc.

Fred Cloud Hello there....yes I had 80 percent blockages in three major arteries including left main. So I was a dead man walking LOL. Unless you do tests there is no way you can tell if you have unblocked the arteries. It often takes more than 10 visits to get the plaque out. I am doing a CT scan with the new Seimens scanner which has low radiation and does 3d scanning of all the arteries and can read calcium and soft plaque. I should know alot  after that> I also do nutrients to clear arteries and enhance blood flow.  And I walk at least an hour every day... .also which clears arteriens. I do intermittent fasting and Senlytics

Hello Dan.... What brand did you use for your Phosphatidylcholine? Did you use the Plaquex brand? It is very expensive? I did the plaquex treatments but I now have skin that is bit creepy.... did you get rid of that with oral use of these pills? I think I lost some weight and that may have caused it somewhat.... but the injections did not help the creepy skin at least to my knowledge...maybe that happened after my round of 50 injections? I loved it and recommend it to anyone with clogged arteries. Gaines clinic does injections by the way...
