Van I can’t because I don’t have a scale to measure as little as a few grams.  It turns out I may never use it.  I had ordered Rapamycin from  ALLdayChemist two months ago. Two weeks ago they wrote saying they were canceling the order. They wanted for me to buy other products from them but I wrote back, no I would like a refund.  A week ago a package from India arrived with the original Rapamycin order.

David H It is easy to buy a jeweler's scale on Amazon or Ebay for around $25, and they are pretty accurate.  They come with calibration weights usually.   It is accurate to .001 grams which is plenty accurate for what you do with it.  Also, the scale is very handy to have if you want to weigh supplements as well as other powders.

David H No it is not.  Must mix with lactose for weighing accuracy.  These scales are not very accurate below 10mg.  That little bit of powder you got is 1000 mg. I would use 250 grams of lactose then your 5mg dose would be 1.25 grams of the mixed compound.  It is easy to mix.  Take your time and go slow.  Will send you a video on how to mix.

Van I read they are more accurate mid-range. Add a weight to get to mid-range and then add 5mg of rapamycin. Is this method viable?

David H I would not do it. Have heard that not accurate below 10 mg. Trying to weigh 5 mg is really such a small amount. If you think about it, you go to the hassle of mixing it, but you have almost 4 years worth of dosing. You could buy at .0001, 1/10000 of a mg lab scale for about $150-200, but even then you have to be careful when weighing out. Here is the mixing video. You could use a hand/table mixer also if you cover the top to keep powder in. If you have arthritis, you can still do it. Just go very slow even if it takes a week. When you travel just take a few grams with you to last while your gone. Just remember that if your off 1-2 mg, it doesn't make much difference if you get 4 or 7 mg. rapa is all good for you.
