Would be nice if I could actually buy rapamycin

Can't source it anywhere. Been trying for months - years on and off if you count the time when I just gave up and turned to other things in my life. If anybody has any or knows of a CURRENT source please feel free to message me. I'm growing very disillusioned. I would love to start a self experimentation chronicle on here for all of you to benefit from but I cannot exactly do that if I don't have the actual drug. I've run myself ragged and nearly broke trying to find a doctor to prescribe it off label (don't even ask about dasatinib, same dead ends there too). Please spare me any more wastes of my time sending sources either unless you have verified for yourself that they actually have these things in stock AND are willing to sell to me. I am in the USA. No I cannot spare the time to fly across the country either. Sorry if I sound so brusque. There has been nothing but frustration here on my end over this.

  • It goes in ant out of stock. I take 6mg a week and I have enough for a year. Anyway, AllDayChemist.com has it in stock today. I was able to get into my shopping cart at their website. Search for sirolimus and order it before it is out of stock - that is my suggestion. My last order from AllDayCHemist in June took a month for delivery. It was delivered to my home in Florida.

David H Sadly, AllDayChemist only ships to selected countries. You can find a long list of countries they do not ship to on their webpage:

      https://www.alldaychemist.com/do-not-ship

It is very unfortunate that it is so difficult to reliably source high-quality rapamycin, especially for European Union (EU) residents. It would be great if one of the EU-wide online pharmacies such as Dokteronline or Treated.com could sell it, but so far this hasn't happened.

  • I live in US and ordered Rapamycin brand Rocas from India (alldaychemist). Today it says that it was seized by Law Enforcement (Tracking link USPS).

It's risky if you are already poor because you can lose your money. I'm 47, so I figured Dr. Alan Green wouldn't prescribe me since I keep hearing that I need to be over 50.

    • Jim  I didn't know that it's better to buy in small quantities. I wanted to buy in bulk because it's a bit cheaper in bulk, so I bought 90 pills (90 mg) for $280 and it got confiscated.

Jim N Also, the Trump pharmaceutical bill recently went into effect.  The U.S. gov't might start caring now if you buys drugs overseas, because you can buy it in the U.S. for the same price...supposedly.

    • Jim N It was EMS I believe.  It does say "Priority Mail Express International". Well, I didn't get lucky I guess, it really sucks. I wish they would just sell all drugs OTC to adults, except controlled substances. Nobody is buying Rapamycin in other countries just for fun and overdosing on it. Yet, it's legal to buy cigarettes and alcohol. This whole system is screwed up...

James Miller Sorry about that. Mine of the same amount made it through JFK Customs last week. To me, 90 mg is a small amount - I would ordered 3x or 4x more but I was concerned about possible confiscation.

    • Paul Bee So I'm not the only one who got their packages seized, good to know. Alldaychemist just offered full refund for my seized packages. It's hard to believe they are actually refunding seized packages in India, so I will see first if they will refund. I will keep in mind dropshipmd next time, thanks.

    • David H I've ordered 400mg to 600mg (so, 400 to 600 X 1mg tablets) at a time - which comes in a box about the size of a shoebox, without any problems. Many of the vendors that sell on IndiaMART.com will guarantee delivery or your money refunded.

    • Jim N Nah - I buy 400 to 600 tablets (1 mg tablets) at a time with no problem for the past year+.  No customs problems at all.

  • Package from dropshipmd got seized too. I bought only 30 mg of Rapacan-1 because I had a feeling it would be seized again. Shipped with EMS.  There is no way my name was flagged or anything like that. It might be flagged now. Trying to get a refund right now.

Well, that's it for me, I will be fasting to clear senescent cells instead of Rapamycin, for now at least. I will wait few years until I can get a prescription or something.

    • James Miller James - you might have a friend order. I've ordered many times (7 times total now) from vendors that I found on IndiaMART.com without any problems at all. I think you just had bad luck. I'm in California. Price is typically around $1/mg. Avoid the Biocon sirolimus as that had contaminants in the HPLC lab tests I had done on my orders.

  • Update. Rapacan-1 came today in a mail even though tracking number said that it was seized by law enforcement. Last time I received an empty package with letter when it was seized, but this time everything was inside. Very strange, but it got through.

  • I use a variety of vendors for my rapamycin / sirolimus - all off Indiamart.com

Price is $1 (on the low side) to $2 / mg - I have had all my shipment products tested at Valisure.com (though they are currently not offering those services now) and the purity and contaminants tested out well - but the Biocon sirolimus did not test out so well so I don't purchase that any longer. I typically purchase in 400 tablet lots - which is about the size of a shoe box when it arrives (in plain brown paper wrapping). Have had a total of 6 orders from 5 different vendors. It takes 1 to 3 weeks for the shipments to arrive (to California). Never had any shipments confiscated - so I think that this problem is rare. My packages have been opened by customs, and obviously reviewed, and still arrived. I think the US customs is primarily focused on controlled substances (e.g. opioids), not people looking to save money on their medications during a pandemic.

  • Payments for all the Indiamart.com vendors are all typically by bank transfer or western union. Cost at my bank (Wells Fargo) for a bank transfer is $35 (when you pay in rupees) and $45 (in US$). I just pay in rupees to keep costs low.

I couldn't obtain Rapa through any other means since the lockdowns.

    • Ross Barker I started at 1mg/week (one dose per week) and then added 1mg to my dose each week.  I take a few weeks extra off each quarter to give my body a break from the rapamycin.  Currently taking 12mg/week without any issues.  Only had one side effect once - canker sores in mouth, but they went away after a few days (this was at the 5mg/week level last year) and they have never come back.  I also got a small (nickel-sized) rash on my wrist a few months ago - but that could have been poison oak as I hike a lot - hard to tell.  I now have More energy generally.  As far as dosage goes - I have found that starting low, and slowly increasing by only 1mg per week seems to work really well.  I've heard on the @blagosklonny  twitter feed that the higher the dose, the better then longevity increase (in the rodent trials).

    • Ross Barker I will be going in for blood work very soon - so I can't answer your question right now. What I have read is that all the side effects that rapamycin can cause, got away when you stop taking it . Additionally, researchers like Matt Kaeberlein and Blagosklonny suggest that the side effects on insulin sensitivity and lipids may be a key part of now the rapamycin is helping you - they see the same types of "side effects" in fasting, and low calorie diets. Here are some resources: https://twitter.com/Blagosklonny/status/1297880274286649345?s=20

  • How many people here are getting lab tests done on their purchases from India to validate / evaluate the purity, dosage, and contaminants? I've done the Valisure.com HPLC analysis on my shipments. (Sadly they've recently stopped doing these customer medicine tests - but may start up again). The Biocon sirolimus I purchased had some unknown impurities in the lab tests, while other vendors (at least the specific batches I had tested) did not. So I think people may want to avoid the Biocon sirolimus - but I still recommend testing on all purchases (I purchase a year's requirements or so at a time, and do sample buys first (and test on those) before I buy the main/bulk purchase. So far, no issues at all from customs (even though they have obviously opened the product and its clearly and accurately labeled) - 7 orders so far. What are other people's experiences with lab tests on their products?
