Should you get a micronutrient test?

Imagine my excitement as the moment finally arrived - the comprehensive results from my 15 vials of blood and four detailed blood tests that I completed at NextHealth arrived in my inbox. After 4 weeks of waiting, the mountain of data arrived and the real fun of digging through it for actionable insights began.

But let’s cut straight to the chase here - was it worth it? Definitely! The micronutrient testing revealed I was critically low in three important micronutrients - an amino acid (Glutamine), a mineral (Chromium) and a vitamin (K1). The first of these was glutamine (see image).

I added some details and further thoughts to the Longevity Blog here:

So into the discussion - have any of you completed micronutrient blood tests? If so, did you find actionable information for your longevity journey? I’m interested to hear if this type of test has been valuable to anyone else.

For micronutrients, do you know How they determined “normal” values?
