I Want to be a Rapamycin Doctor!
I am a physician in NJ, with a keen interest in anti-aging medicine. To that end, I would like to make a part of my neurology practice dedicated to aging medicine. I have been researching this for the past 2 years, and feel that I am ready to start.
If you would take a look at the website that I am working on, and give me some feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. I am most interested in what you think of my pricing, as well as the website itself. Any criticism will be appreciated. I don't want you to feel that this is an advertisement. I feel that this group can give me the best feedback.

Hello. My $.02:
1) For my tastes and possibly for the target population that would use this, it feels waaaay too new age in its design to me. It doesn’t give me the sense of seriousness or professionalism.
2) Pricing in the ballpark. Option I use is $275 per six months with no monthly charge. -
I see that you will charge monthly. As a patient I would like to know how many visits this entitles me too. Also I am viewing this on my phone and the text is too large

I have made some adjustments to the fonts. See if that is better.
My plan is to have the cost include any necessary visits, lab orders, and the prescriptions (not the actual meds).
I plan to do telemed visits for those out of state or those who don't desire an in-person visit.

Scott; website looks interesting. As a fellow physician, I’m interested in what you are doing about malpractice. Clearly this is on the fringe of standard medical practice. Do you have patients sign a disclaimer of some sort?

SCOTT WEANER I’ve also considered it as a side gig, as people such as those on this board need physicians they can get help from, but the malpractice side of it is a big concern.

The text is much too large and the rapidly moving background is very distracting when trying to read the text. Consider reducing the text size and consider still images instead of moving images.

Just my 2 cents worth. My wife and I see Dr Green. We started with a couples package deal and paid $500 (included initial consult plus a full year of scripts). For a single person it would have been $300. He spent 2 hours talking to us and went over our medical history and current labs. We received a years worth of scripts for Rapa, senolytics, antibiotics, and anything else like Metformin or Ciales.
Now we pay $175 a year per person for our yearly scripts and a phone consult. That comes to $20.83 per month for the first year and $14.58 per month for every year after.
Your prices are much higher in comparison.

And by the way Dr Green is also an attorney so that may be why it's easier for him to navigate the pitfalls of malpractice.

JOHN did you sign any paperwork indicating that you understood the medications were not being given for their approved purpose or anything like that?

No we did not. To be fair Scott's prices are not too bad. I believe some other docs out there are more expensive. We just were lucky enough to get Dr Green. Hopefully he will be practicing for a while.

Part of your competition are the Asian pharmacies which will ship rapamycin, metformin, and other drugs without a doctor's prescription. Perhaps, part of your pitch would be to remind them it is safer to have a doctor and the USA pharmacy meds would also be safer (not sure if that is true).

Hello, Scott. I highly appreciate your desire and your work on the website. IMO, it looks pretty, but not perfect. I’d highly recommend you hire a specialist on Upwork or Fiverr. It won’t cost you much (depending on your chosen specialist and your needs, but approximately $100-500). Anyway, it will bring you more clients than your current website. Your desire to DIY is great, but delegating this deal to a designer would be more reasonable. I have a friend who’s a web designer. Here’s one of the examples of his work thefinitygroup.com. This website is easy-to-use, has good navigation, and just looks pretty. So, hiring a pro is what you need. BW
