I take apigenin as a daily supplement.  The problem is that apigenin is a flavenoid (like fisetin and quercetin) that has low solubility in water and tends to be broken down by the digestive system, and therefore is low in bioavailability.  Bill Faloon and LifeExtension should provide us with Bio-Apigenin that has their proprietary special fenugreek fiber coating that greatly increases its bio-avaibility.

I eat fresh parsley regularly these days with the idea getting *some* of the molecule from natural sources in unlikely to be bad. However since the likely beneficial action of apigenin is tamping down of CD38 it may be better to find another bioavailable flavonoid that does that. For example Quercetin was shown to do the job in vitro but no experiments have shown this yet in vivo to my knowledge.

Interesting.  LifeExtension does sell Bio-Quercetin (30 x 29 mg caps for $9).  Their blurb says this: "Our Bio-Quercetin supplement uses a quercetin encased in a plant-derived phytosome, which makes absorption easier. Our quercetin is up to 50 times more bioavailable than a dose of standard quercetin."
