Bizarre that I can't pay for an order from the site
Self experiment thwarted....My bank wants $50 to wire internationally, so that's out. She gave me a company name that's supposed to take a payment but no link (altho it said'here' like it shudda been a link). Went to their site--nothing about where to pay an invoice. Then she give me a phone number that US Cell says is not the international code for UK. I never ran across a company it was so impossible to pay for an order. Is it just me? Anyone else having problems

<not getting into a political discussion I hate politics and for the record am independent> but since it's relevant, since the present U.S. administration is so bent on dismantling government, why aren't they doing anything (AFAIK) to reign in regulation at the FDA? To be fair, the FDA has made some effort to fast track medical devices - the Apple Watch 4 being an example with the 1-lead ECG. Philosophically, if a person want's to reasonably self experiment, shouldn't they be allowed to?
Or a easier example, the QardioCore. This is a wearable multi-lead device, called a 'halter' (or 'holter' or something) if you get it from your cardiologist. I'm getting the cardiologist version soon to check on some heart palpitations, and the visit will probably cost me a pretty penny. Instead I could be already monitoring with this device, except of course it hasn't passed FDA which takes forever and costs the developers big $$ just to get the approval. Meanwhile it's already available in other countries like Canada.
Speaking of which, in case people don't know Bill has written two books on this, Pharmocracy I and II, How Corrupt Deals and Misguided Medical Regulations are Bankrupting America
I recommend group members getting a copy and giving it a review on Amazon, only $10/kindle.

Here's an update on my own experience. Starting Dec 5th, granted the holiday season probably slowed things down. But the echeck was not easy starting from zero. The phone number thing, turns out the 0800 area code is actually just an 800 number to call like any in the US. Time differential is significant--8 hours for me. Their office person (and I think just one person) does not seem to be in the office during all stated office hours. Email response was usually two days at least. For whatever reason, my phone number got recorded wrong so that slowed the verification process by several days. Finally completed and after what looked like way too long, my echeck still had not cleared so I emailed again. Longer response time. I am told my order has shipped. OK, and the echeck has still not cleared. Other than bookkeeping, that's the least of the glitches. So, for me, this process has taken about two months by time it gets here. Granted, I can shorten that some next time but for others, plan on a lot of time when ordering or reordering. Shipping alone I was told takes up tp 21 days. Hope this info helps any others starting out. Mind you, I am grateful for the resource, just frustrated by numerous delays.
