Modeling the TRIIM Study
I was wondering if anyone has tried trying the protocol used in the TRIIM study.
It seems like much of the info is public. They dosed HGH 4 days per week and continued to tweak the dosing (starting at 0.015mg/kg body weight) "to maximize IGF‐1 and minimize insulin". It's a bit unclear as to what "minimizing insulin" means.
Does that mean high normal insulin? I can't think that it'd be it bc that'd be pretty unhealthy.
Perhaps the middle of the normal insulin range?
If anyone knows anyone associated with the study, that'd be great info to know.

See this Thymus rejuvination video that uses HGH sup with metformin and a 3rd component, both said to mitigate negative sides of HGH...

My low carb/ketogentic, wearing a CGM would be somewhat wasted if insulin is raised from another protocol. More time and trials are needed re if thymus rejuvination is more value then the inflammation from higher insulin? TBD Good luck.

Hi Mel, actually I did just that, for almost 2 year.
It was truly life changing for me, I felt like I was on a slow decline, i I again feel strong. My epigenetic age reversed 2 years, the first year, and dundun age, dropped to 0.6 years per year. The second year my age test stayed the same, Dunun was 0.8, I think. I just recently quit to give my body a break.
I was not in the trial, just a DIYER

That's awesome. It seems like the study participants are having experiences similar to yours - life changing. Sounds like great test results too. How old are you?
How did you determine how much hgh to dose? Their initial dose is published but how they tweak it is not. Did you use metformin? It's a prescription med here in the states. So I've heard some are using berberine.

I am 55 now, I experimented with different HGH dosages but for ease finally settled on 3iu every second day (the correct protocol is 4 times a week). With DHEA I used 75mg at bed time, and 25 when I woke up. I may have stuck with it longer than 2 years, but I was really struggling to keep my blood sugar levels in check towards the end. I used metformin XR and regular metformin when I didn't have the XR available and yes i did use lots of berberine as well, with Berberine I found I needed very high dosages to get much affect, but it does work.
Interestingly my hair had just started to rapidly turn grey before i started. It seems to me it suspended that greying process and somewhat reversed it. My sideburns were going grey the fastest but slowly turned brown/blond kind of like in my youth. My greying hair has not resumed.

Thanks for sharing Bruce. I've recently been accepted into the trial but won't likely start my protocol until early next year (2025). Apparently a lot of people are interested and, after approved, there is a wait list.
In one of his videos, Dr. Fahy indicated that he tried another formula that drastically reduced his age (I think about 5 years in a few months). However, the formula/compound hasn't been made public. Getting very interesting. If anyone here's what it is, please post.

@Mel I'm 71, lean, does work carrying things like 2x4's and using hammers several times a week. Daily does vibration plate, LED panel, hyperbaric chamber and now this kaatsu device that promotes natural HGH via the std exercise pathway but without the trip to the gym or sweat or time.
All I can say is; I feel better after starting the HGH peptides: ipamorelan/cjc at bedtime + ipamorelan/cjc + tesamorelan upon waking, M-F. No doubt a percent of the $$ is wasted on me due to age. I don't think its plecebo that I feel better and just notched 45 std pushups this AM where I was 25-30 max 30 days ago.
Forget "this is what studies say". you have a unique body. Also; some benefit is better then none, right?
Create some physical benchmark. For me its pushups. Start ipamorelan/cjc + tesamorlan daily. Maybe leave off 1 or 2 days out of 7, maybe not. Then in 4 weeks have you made progress? Its only money and jabbing yourself at least 1x per day. Its reasonable to multi load multi similar peptides into one needle. I reuse needles as well.
Youtube is your friend re learning about peptides. I reco Hunter Williams, Peptide Buddy and once in a while Jay Campbell will be interviewed.
FWIW impossible to tell if my starting at the same time organ rejuvination of the pituitary + thymus via; peptides; thymulin, pinealon, thymalin a1 (??) and epitalon. These peptides have a focus and a general restoration foot print. And is probably not measurable for the $$ and injections. Like rapa this list has a faith compontent. The HGH peptides I feel have a measurable benefit for me. The many other peptides also have measurable benefit to me so far; BPC-157/TB-500/GHK-cu, DSIP (sleep).
The mitochondrial peptides have not had a noticeable benefit: SS-31/MOTSC. Like rapa on faith. The coaches say the healthier you are the less the mitochondrial peptides will be noticed.
Buy off: limitless, core peptides, solution peptides. Each place has their own price for some peptide. I end up buying from the cheapest place for each peptide. Search youtube for "solution peptides discount code" for 10,15% discounts.
Good luck, curt
PS its ok to have professional guidance. But 99.99% of inventions where created based on ignorance and just trying something. IE like rapa.
