Hair regrowth

I know nothing about it, and I'd like to not go bald. Any tips on drugs, shampoos, do plugs work, etc.??

James Fernow those aren’t studies that showed it’s effective.   Rosemary really won’t do anything for you.

  • Be sure it is male pattern causing the issue.  Your thyroid may not be at the right level and that will create hair loss.

You may be interested in reading Dr. Ray Sahelian's article on hair.  There is a section on supplements.

  • Hey I know old-ish thread is old but I just found this forum, anyway I experemented with using a 1/4 baking soda to 3/4 water mix in my hair followed by a half apple cider vinegar half water mix and surprised to say my hair sprouted quick after a week of use and gained colour. Will be experementing on my sisters hair soon too when/if she lets me since shes actually suffering from hair loss.

Check Page 170, Appendix C, in my book “Living Longer and Reversing Aging” You can also visit my website www.doctorpuentesbook.com

Here there is excerpt from the Appendix

    Hair growth and baldness
Men with higher levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) have increased levels of hair loss. Too much of this hormone can shrink hair follicles to the point where no new hair can grow.  Men may notice baldness of the crown of the head as the first sign of baldness. Rogaine stimulates hair growth in men by inhibiting the activity of DHT.  Rogaine works better with early signs of baldness.  Once baldness is total, it does not work.
Two preparations (2 percent and 5 percent) rubbed into the hair work about the same. However, recent studies found that, after a year of daily use, 5 percent Rogaine works better than the 2 percent preparation. Some drugs used to treat the enlargement of the prostate help to decrease baldness, but they have some side effects.  Propecia and Avodart help to inhibit DHT.  Women should not use these drugs.
Spot baldness, alopecia areata or patchy hair loss, may affect some women.  When a woman is losing hair, she may be under a great deal of stress. Reducing stress helps to improve this condition.  Pulling the hair to create a ponytail too tightly may cause hair loss. Low thyroid may be associated with hair loss.  Steroid creams may help to improve hair loss.
Garlic gels twice a day, combined with a steroid cream, were helpful in men treated in a placebo-controlled study in Iran. Onion juice has been found to stimulate hair growth. Some hair shampoos, conditioners, and serums also promote hair growth. Saw palmetto is a DHT inhibitor. I recommend saw palmetto extract, which you can find in health stores. Use five drops of the extract in 10 ml of water and apply it to the hair after using a shampoo and conditioner to thicken the hair. You can use a serum to thicken the hair after the application.  Supplementation with zinc and biotin is recommended. Shampoos and conditioners containing biotin are helpful to keep hair stronger and prevent hair loss.

Saw Palmeto has similar components of Nettle. I recommend few drops of the extract applied with a regenerative serum.

You may want to look at this link.

      http://www.jneuropsychiatry.org/peer-review/development-of-colostrum-maf-and-its-clinical-application.html

This talks about how colostrum MAF (GcMAF) is produced.  It is not just colostrum, but colostrum processed into GcMAF (bovine GcMAF).  There are internet sites that sell just colostrum or yogurt with colostrum.  They take advantage of those who do not know the difference.  The site must specify it is selling GcMAF or colostrum MAF and specify the number of ng's in each product.  I hope what you bought is GcMAF.

I emailed my supplier for more detailed info.  I order the 15,000 ng cream from a distributor here in the states for convenience.  Here is her reply:

"Thank you for your encouraging update.  It is always nice to hear about the drop in nagalase.  I hope the extra GcMAF will help you all the more.

The GcMAF from GcMAFPlus is derived from bovine colostrum.  It is a 22 step process to separate the GcMAF protein from colostrum.  The protein in the cream and spray is a very concentrated amount of GcMAF.

Each container of GcMAF cream has a total amount of what is printed on the package.  Each pump is 1/70 that amount.  There are approximately 70 pumps per container. "

A Google search on GcMAF turns up a whole host of warnings about fraud, cancer quacks, contaminated injectables, retracted papers, and stern warnings.  On the other hand, there are also testimonials about semi-miraculous cancer cures, etc.

GcMAF may be as remarkable as you say, but it certainly has garnered a lot of bad publicity.  On the other hand, the hair restoration aspect is interesting.  Perhaps I should rub some GcMAF cream on my depopulated scalp.

Question: is your supplier still in business?  If so, what's her link?

Yes, BIG PHARMA has a major disinformation campaign against GcMAF for obvious reasons.  Then too there are always fraudsters wanting to cash in on the unknowing.  So it is important to do your research like you have done.  A lot of the early reports you are reading concerns First Generation GcMAF  which required cooling and was not as stable as Second Generation GcMAF developed by the Japanese.  But both of these are injectable or spray blood products which turn-off many people.  The solution to these problems is colostrum MAF (Bovine GcMAF).  As you know, the FDA protects the pharmaceutical industry because this industry is a source of millions in fees and they want to keep the drug pipeline flowing.  All GcMAF's are a MAJOR threat to this pipeline.  Not long ago the evil FDA raided doctors in Georgia and Florida who were using First Generation GcMAF in their practice.  I don't know yet how the evil FDA will respond to colostrum GcMAF.  I would not put it past them to ban colostrum MAF like they did plasma GcMAF.  So I can't give you the name of my distributor to protect her.  When it comes to medicine, we live in a police (FDA) country.  But I have given you the name of the product.  Go to the supplier's website and contact them directly.  The supplier may give you a name here willing to go public.  But I am having excellent results with colostrum MAF.  I hope you understand my position and I don't want to lose my distributor to the evil socialist FDA or have her persecuted for doing good.

Dr. Yamamoto who discovered the GcMAF protein in blood plasma was in effect blackballed by the medical system.  So he personally published his studies (no backers) using shortcuts to save time and money.  He wanted to get his discovery out in the public to advance medicine.  His actual study data was not questioned, just the wrappings of his studies which he fudged.  His detractors who wanted to suppress his discovery went after him with a vengeance.  He wanted the research community to test and validate his study results to move his profound discovery forward.  Science did not know that GcMAF existed at this point.

But instead of testing and trying to refute his results scientifically (which they couldn't), they went after the publisher to get his studies retracted based on study ethics, not results.  Then I'm sure they threatened to blackball any researchers who proposed to test his study results further. So only 1 of his 4 studies remain published in the scientific literature.  The study on prostate cancer was validated by a Defense Department commissioned study so the publisher refused to retract Dr, Yamamoto's prostate study.  Notice that none of his other 3 studies have been tested (breast cancer, colon cancer and HIV).

At that time there was no GcMAF product on the market.  So Dr. Yamamoto was not hawking a GcMAF product.  He never sold a GcMAF product.  But he did patent the extraction process for making GcMAF back in the early 1990's.  Since the patent was public, Immuno Biotech Ltd in the UK started producing GOleic illegally off this patent.  Dr. Yamamoto recovered no royalties.      Some of his patents have expired now.  This same process has been adapted for producing colostrum MAF.  But if Immuno Biotech Ltd had not recognized the importance of this medical breakthrough and produced GOleic, the world would not know anything about GcMAF.  The medical system had successfully blackballed Dr. Yamamoto and his discovery until GOleic hit the world market.  Then the boot licking evil socialist FDA and MHRA had to act to curtail the spread of GcMAF.  But the genie is out of the bottle.

Since Dr, Yamamoto could find no interest in GcMAF here for obvious reasons, he accepted an offer to help found Efranat Ltd in Israel which successfully completed a Phase 1 Clinical Trial on their GcMAF product (EF-022).  During the safety trial about 25% of the terminal cancer patients with different cancers halted their cancers.  This was surprising since a safety study does not formulate a treatment protocol.  It just tests for toxicity.  I don't believe any died during the trial year.  As a result of this successful safety trial, EF-022 should be legal under the "Right to Try" law if you can get it.  But it is rumored that a pharmaceutical entity paid millions to buy into Efranat Ltd probably to subvert further development of EF-022.  What's a few million once to protect billions in annual income from marginal drugs.

So the medical system has a vested interest in suppressing GcMAF and keeping it banned.  Colostrum MAF is also under threat by the evil socialist FDA for the same reasons.  They will ban any all-natural product that copies the immune system's own innate mechanism for preventing and curing diseases.  Deficiencies in GcMAF develop due to circumstances and age which promote numerous diseases and can be corrected only by supplementation to re-vitalize an under-performing immune system.  Write all your Congressional representatives, like I do weekly, to liberate GcMAF.  Remember you can't age if you die early with a disease

I have since learned that Genentech Pharmaceuticals has bought into Efranat Ltd after their very successful Phase 1 Clinical Trial of EF-022.  This was probably for 3 reasons: (1) to buy controlling interest, (2) to prevent "Right to Try" sales and (3) to keep EF-022 off the market.  Genentech already has 3 blockbuster approved chemo drugs on the market generating billions each year.  Ask yourself why would a large pharmaceutical entity pay millions to buy into a very small Israeli start-up with only 1 product (GcMAF) after a safety trial.  GcMAF works and they know it and they are trying to suppress an all-natural, safe, highly effective, cancer and chronic viral disease cure.  Because of the natural way supplemental GcMAF restores a faltering immune system it can cure many other diseases.   It is a threat to the entire pharmaceutical industry.

I have since learned that GOleic was banned because the  MHRA and FDA claimed that Immuno Biotech Ltd was using tainted source plasma to make GOleic.  This turns out to be a total lie and an excuse to justify their corrupt actions.  GOleic was made from powdered Vitamin D Binding Protein isolate purchased from an approved medical supplier.  All other components of GOleic to enhance effectiveness were GRAS (Saline, Vitamin D and Oleic Acid from Olive oil).  So GOleic was perfectly safe all along, but these infiltrated corrupt government agencies are in the pocket of BIG PHARMA.  They do not want cancer cured by any means other than surgery, chemo and radiation.  They will accept patented dangerous immunotherapy but will not accept the unpatentable safe immunotherapy of GcMAF.  They have managed to remove EF-022 and GOleic from the market.

It takes 100 ng's of colostrum MAF to equal 10 ng's of GOleic  ( human GcMAF).  The cytokine profiles are also slightly different so we need both available on the market.  Colostrum MAF (bovine GcMAF) is also in danger of a ban so write your Congressional representatives and insist that the GOleic ban be removed and colostrum MAF be protected.  GOleic can be revived if there is an American market.  Don't accept their usual boiler plate response, insist on a positive response.

Reforestation is #1 priority.   It would give anti-aging experiment a big boost personally.   Nails and skin are definitely younger.   Nails used to be so brittle it requires no nail clipper for grooming.

Anecdotal, but my father has his hair into his late 80's, I have all mine at 53 and my 55 year old brother has already lost much of his. My brother lives a lifestyle much like my father - meat and potatoes, except he exercises where my dad never did much (I'm a vegan athlete and do the full age reversal program). My brother did 23andme and I have a full genome, but I don't think we know what genes cause this. But whatever they are, it appears I got my dads version and my brother got another variant from our mother.

Point being, I suspect that presently if you have the genetic setup to go bald you will, and it would be difficult to prevent, as unfortunate as that is.
