Don't torture yourself. I wouldn't waste any time or money on hair regrowth products such as rogaine/minoxidil. They don't really "regrow" hair. Rather, they slow hair loss down and not even considerably. I started balding in my mid 30's and despite the hundreds of dollars I spent (or more correctly wasted) on regular doses of rogaine/minoxidil, baldness finally took cover in my late 30's and now I just shave my head, which in hindsight I should've done right from the start. If you're genetically destined to go bald there's nothing you can do to change that. The sooner you accept it the sooner you'll spare yourself the painful torture and disappointments. The only thing that has a real shot at reversing your hair loss would be something like propecia. But just think, if it's defying your biological genes/structure like that then what kind of danger and damage could it be potentially imposing on your body? There's a risk of erectile dysfunction. So it's not a decision you should take lightly. Just trust me there's far worse things in life than losing your hair. So don't hesitate the slightest bit to shave it off (or at least keep it as short as possible for you) and get on with your life. Thank me later.

Hi Benjamin - I have an uncle who uses Hair Growth MD Prescription Strength Formulas - https://www.hairgrowthmd.com/. He has been using it for about a year now. His hair looks great as in healthy and is fuller hair. It is a little pricey, but they use top ingredients and it really works. Just a thought.

It is not necessary that hair fall may be a symptom of a severe medical disease or condition; however, the thyroid is a disease that causes extreme hair fall or loss. Usually, hair fall is common for most people, but you may consult your doctor and ask for a prescription if you face excessive hair fall. However, if you are losing a certain amount of hair per day, there is nothing to worry about, and you may start following a healthy and proper hair-care routine. Make maximum use of hair growth products and start oiling your hair daily. Brush or comb your hair so that your hair follicles are reopened. Include healthy food items in your diet that are also the sources of healthy hair.
