Bill message of wealthy missing the life boat in my words.

Humanity are so busy spending trillions of dollars on wars, making profit at any cost, building sky scrapers, landing on the moon and mars , seeking life in space, trying to solve the mystery of black holes   and has almost no interest in staying young and healthy for at least a couple of hundred years to begin with. Is it too harsh to say that people are not so smart after all ?
