Best bio markers
After months of research, I've come to the conclusion that there are two indispensable biomarkers everyone should track:
HOMA-IR - Homeostatic Model Assessment - Insulin Resistance.
This is a product of the fasting insulin times fasting glucose divided by 405.
I think insulin resistance is so important for heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's and probably cancer, that improving this is the most important thing you can do for your health.
The other is heart rate variability - this is the time in ms between peaks in your heart beats. It shouldn't be uniform - that means you are getting sicker. It is a great metric for measuring fitness, aging, disease. I recently read where the NBA is having players wear Oura rings to track HRV which will predict Covid illness before any symptoms appear . Exercise and sleep seem to be the best things to do to increase HRV.
