If anyone has an interest, recruitment for the Pearl trial is still ongoing.  If selected, you may get 5mg, 10mg of pharmaceutical grade Rapa, or a placebo.  They reduced the participant cost from $1,000 to $350 (or it may even be less now).  But, for the cost and random probability of getting the placebo, you get the possibility of expensive Rapamycin for free.
