What alternative clinics or strategies should be taken into account for pancreatic cancer Patients ?
Because cancer is directly associated with aging I would like to ask in this forum, what are some of the alternative clinics and treatment strategies I could look into, regarding pancreatic cancer. There are a lot of studies on PubMed regarding metformin, rapamycin, fisetin, in cell lines, and in patients. I have a family member that has relapsed from pancreatic cancer, and I'm trying to collect the best actionable information. I would welcome any tips of clinical trials or any other information that you guys could point me to. Thanks

Sorry to hear that. You can compile a doc like this. (50 pages of articles about "kidney cancer <bla>"). I actually strongly encourage compiling a doc like this, and research the supplements listed in this doc via "pancreatic cancer curcumin" etc Google searches. In a nutshell,
i) There's observational evidence that Metformin, Statins increase your chances of survival against a variety of cancers. Those are some of the first things to research and consider.
ii) Weekly Rapamycin, I believe, shouldn't hurt. Evorilimus is an FDA approved drug for many cancers including pancreatic cancer. Weekly rapamycin should supress mTOR and improve anti-cancer, immunity I believe. You can get a prescription from an anti-aging Dr (even online) or try to order overseas (I couldn't).
iii) Consult with careoncology.com (telemedicine Dr in USA to get prescriptions for metformin, statin, mebendazole etc).
iv) A bunch of supplements (probably curcumin and others) and other drugs like aspirin (anti-metastatic effects) , 20mg melatonin, Vit D, etc. I'd research each of them.
v) LDN may be something to consider. The evidence base is weaker but some interesting anecdotal examples. Very safe. ldndirect.com for online (legit) prescription.
vi) Become a member of Jane McLelland Off Label Drugs (Facebook group), check out things like my cancer story rocks (blog + FB group), Chris beat cancer (book + FB group etc).
vii) CBD and full spectrum oil have ardent supporters, and some anectodal evidence.
Just sharing what I know. Hope this helps. Please research for your particular condition and/or consult with an MD.

Because this is a ton of work, I can see that finding a clinic who's done this work for you would be awesome.
1) careoncology is a starting point, but their treatment will probably be limited to metfomin, statin, antibiotic, de-wormer, anti-histamine, medicinal mushrooms, melatonin. I guess it's a good start.
2) This is another doc (they do liquid biopsies, plus probably a bunch of other things).

In one of the cases, it was of his mother, who was the only survivor of a Herceptin clinical trial with 50 patients. Herceptin has recently been approved for Pancreatic Cancer so it's something I found would be worth looking at
